What issues were you having with mobile telephony?

We were deploying mobile devices, such as cell phones, smartphones and air cards for laptops at an increasingly rapid rate. To cope with this phenomenal growth, we needed a way of exerting control over costs. We had no central control over mobile devices or spending, we didn't know what was being ordered, with whom it had been ordered, or what price plans people were on.
